Q: How is the M91P different from the other Universal Commercial Exit Device (UH40010)?
A: The M91P is vastly different from the UH40010 exit device. The M91P is intended for heavy-duty applications and is made from heavier gauge aluminum and steel components. The M91P push bar features a hydraulic dampening system which has a quieter operation vs spring dampening found on the UH40010. The case of M91P is also a grooved design which offers better styling and better grip during installation.

Q: Does M91P offer the same performance and specifications as Von Duprin’s 99 Series?
A: Yes, 1:1 comparison in performance specifications as the VD99 Series.

Q: Do we offer any outside trims with the M91P?
A: The M91P currently includes a finger pull trim and a SC4 cylinder in the package. We are working to have additional storeroom and passage trims available next year.

Q: If the M91P is a direct replacement for the Von Duprin 99, Does the M91P work with any Von Duprin trims?
A: Yes! We’ve found that the M91P will work with select Von Duprin trims such as the 110 night latch and the 990 trims. It may work with additional Von Duprin trims although we have not tested to full completion.
